Job Overview

A law firm seeks a dedicated Personal Injury Attorney to join their team in North Carolina. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the community while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. The position is open to various locations, including Durham, Greensboro, Wilmington, and Winston-Salem, NC.

Duties

  • Represent clients at all stages of their case, including client communication and litigation.
  • Review and analyze medical evidence, records, and legal documents.
  • Engage in legal writing and research, including motions, briefs, and appeals.
  • Litigate claims through discovery, depositions, mediation, and trials.
  • Develop strategies and arguments for case presentation.
  • Investigate insurance coverage and additional sources.
  • Conduct trial advocacy and guide clients through litigation.
  • Supervise and collaborate with the personal injury team.

Requirements

  • Member in good standing with the N.C. State Bar or eligible to waive in.
  • Three or more years of experience in Personal Injury law, including litigation.
  • Experience in client interaction and relationship building.
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
