Job Overview:
A leading law firm in the Pacific Northwest is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Personal Injury Attorney to join its growing legal team in Tacoma, Washington. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the development of the firm’s personal injury practice while contributing meaningfully to client outcomes. The ideal candidate will have solid litigation experience, strong client advocacy skills, and a desire to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Location:

  • Tacoma, Washington

Duties:

  • Conduct detailed liability, damages, and insurance coverage assessments for personal injury cases

  • Manage cases from client intake through resolution, including litigation

  • Handle all aspects of litigation including depositions, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances

  • Negotiate complex settlements and interact with expert witnesses

  • Support other attorneys in the firm, including courtroom coverage for criminal defense cases if needed

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships rooted in transparency and trust

  • Collaborate with team members, court personnel, and opposing counsel to drive favorable case outcomes

Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of personal injury litigation experience

  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage personal injury cases

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to growing the personal injury practice

  • Comfortable in a client-facing, fast-moving environment

  • Ability to commute or relocate to Tacoma, WA prior to start date

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the State of Washington

Skills:

  • Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills

  • Excellent negotiation and litigation capabilities

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Effective time management and multitasking in a high-volume setting
