Litigation Defense Counsel

Location:

Duties:

• Handle civil defense litigation matters across various stages of litigation

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Attend and participate in depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and trials

• Consult with colleagues on case strategy and trial preparation

• Provide legal advice and representation with a focus on client service and advocacy

• Maintain accurate records and meet litigation deadlines

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of litigation or defense experience

• Admission to the Connecticut State Bar (Required)

• Strong ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team

• Dedication to delivering exceptional legal services

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Connecticut (Required)
