We are seeking a Community Association Attorney to represent condominium and homeowner associations. This position is suitable for attorneys with 0-3 years of experience, as well as more experienced attorneys with a book of business. The role is based out of our Fort Lauderdale office, with options for hybrid or fully remote work. Candidates must reside in Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach County.

Duties:

  • Advise association boards on compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Review and prepare contracts and other legal documents.
  • Draft covenants, declarations, bylaws, rules, and amendments.
  • Assist clients in dispute resolution through mediation and arbitration.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to receive training and mentorship.

Requirements:

  • 0-3 years of experience in law; more experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
  • Membership in the Florida Bar or eligibility for Bar admission (awaiting 2024 exam results is acceptable).
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Florida Bar or pending admission.

Skills:

  • Excellent legal writing and research abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
