Job Overview

A law firm seeks a dedicated Probate Attorney in Anchorage, AK. This full-time position offers an engaging opportunity for a motivated individual to grow within a well-established probate and estate planning firm. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in probate law and be comfortable working independently.

Duties

  • Represent clients in probate and estate planning matters.
  • Draft motions, pleadings, and conduct legal research.
  • Appear in court on behalf of clients.
  • Conduct initial client consultations.
  • Maintain up-to-date client files and databases.
  • Draft correspondence and complete form letters/pleadings.
  • Perform various administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience in probate law.
  • Barred in Alaska or willing to become barred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
  • Experience with client management software is a plus.
  • Bi-lingual candidates preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and writing skills.
  • Must pass a background check.

Education

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited university.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in Alaska.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
