Job Overview

A respected regional law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Litigation Attorney to join its growing tort litigation practice. This full-time position is based in Wheeling, WV, and offers a hybrid work schedule. The successful candidate will manage a caseload from inception through resolution and will have opportunities for direct client interaction, courtroom experience, and growth within a collaborative team environment.

Duties

• Handle tort litigation matters independently from intake through trial

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and briefs

• Represent clients in depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and court proceedings

• Engage in direct client communication and provide strategic legal counseling

• Manage deadlines and maintain organized case files

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff on active matters

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania (required)

• Licensure in West Virginia, New Jersey, New York, or Delaware is a plus

• 3+ years of litigation experience preferred

• Strong case management capabilities and organizational skills

• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

• Demonstrated ability to handle depositions and oral arguments

• Trial experience preferred

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active bar admission in Pennsylvania

• Admission in one or more of the following states is advantageous: WV, NJ, NY, DE
