Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate with 4-7 years of experience to join its Emerging Growth practice in Phoenix, AZ. This role offers the opportunity to engage with a dynamic market, representing venture capital funds and emerging companies in various transactions and corporate counseling.

Duties

  • Represent venture capital funds and emerging companies in debt and equity financings.
  • Participate in mergers and acquisitions transactions.
  • Provide general corporate counseling and act as outside general counsel.
  • Engage in direct client-facing and client-management opportunities.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience in a top-tier law firm.
  • Experience with emerging growth companies, venture capital, or private equity funds.
  • Interest in practicing in the Mountain West region.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
