A well-established law firm is seeking a Junior Business Attorney to join its growing team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have 0-5 years of experience handling complex business law matters, with a focus on providing high-level legal services. This position is ideal for those who are passionate about business law, enjoy working on intricate legal cases, and have the confidence to advocate effectively in both written and verbal forms. Duties:

  • Handle complex business law matters, including corporate, LLC, commercial real estate, and intellectual property issues.
  • Provide legal support in employment law, e-commerce, construction contracts, and debtor-creditor rights.
  • Prepare and review business contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Offer legal advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of business law topics.
  • Conduct legal research and present findings to senior attorneys.
  • Draft and review litigation documents related to business disputes, bankruptcy, and business litigation.
  • Actively participate in client meetings and provide strategic legal counsel.
  • Maintain a professional, client-focused approach while managing caseloads.

Requirements:

  • 0-5 years of experience in business law, with a strong interest in developing expertise across multiple business law disciplines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal issues clearly and confidently.
  • Ability to think critically and approach legal matters with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience or willingness to manage a range of business law matters, including corporate governance, commercial agreements, and litigation.
  • Texas Bar License (Required).

Education:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Texas Bar License (Required).
