Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Real Estate Practice Group, focusing on general commercial real estate matters. This position is open to candidates in any of the firm's offices. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of experience in commercial real estate, including development, purchases and sales, corporate real estate, leasing, and mortgage lending. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with partners and senior attorneys, supporting a broad range of real estate transactions and client needs.

Duties

  • Assist in commercial real estate development projects.
  • Manage purchases and sales of real estate properties.
  • Handle corporate real estate transactions.
  • Negotiate and draft leasing agreements.
  • Support mortgage lending processes.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar membership in the relevant state or eligibility for admission.
  • 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication and client service skills.

Education
