A law firm seeks an experienced Senior Civil Litigation Attorney to join their team in Solana Beach, CA. This role offers a high-level opportunity for a skilled litigator with a focus on Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Litigation, Probate Administration, and Trust Administration. Duties

  • Conduct thorough legal intakes and consultations with clients.
  • Oversee litigation strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Represent clients in California Civil Court for hearings and trials.
  • Prepare high-quality pleadings, motions, briefs, and court filings.
  • Maintain consistent client communication and manage expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and external advisors.
  • Participate in mediations and other dispute resolution processes.
  • Stay current on relevant probate and tax laws.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of civil litigation experience with proven trial experience.
  • Active California bar license required; additional licensure in NV, WY, AZ, TX, or FL is a plus.
  • Ability to build rapport and offer practical, results-driven advice.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong case management skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active California bar license.
