Business and Facilities Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a Business and Facilities Associate Attorney in Los Angeles, CA. The successful candidate will support K-12 schools and community colleges on a variety of operational legal matters, combining transactional work with litigation support in areas such as real estate and public contracting.

Duties

• Assist with real estate transactions and lease drafting for public education clients.

• Advise on public contracting and construction procurement processes.

• Manage contract negotiations and dispute resolution efforts.

• Provide litigation support, including drafting pleadings and participating in hearings.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of practice experience in transactional or litigation work.

• Proven ability to handle complex contract and regulatory issues.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to procedural deadlines.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership, State Bar of California.
