Job Overview

A law firm seeks a talented senior-level executive compensation attorney to join its tax and employee benefits practice in Milwaukee, WI. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in executive compensation, with expertise in equity compensation and nonqualified benefit plan design. Experience with public company executive compensation disclosure is a plus.

Duties

  • Counsel employers and executives on compensation planning and equity incentive arrangements.
  • Manage sophisticated compensation plan issues, particularly during mergers and acquisitions.
  • Provide legal advice on the design, taxation, compliance, and governance of executive compensation arrangements.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Wisconsin State Bar or eligibility for admission by waiver.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in executive compensation.
  • Experience with equity compensation and nonqualified benefit plan design.
  • Public company executive compensation disclosure expertise is a plus.

Education
