Job Overview:
A mission-driven law firm is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its immigration law practice in Missouri City, TX. The position is primarily remote, with some required travel for court and USCIS appearances. Location:

Duties:

  • Review and analyze consultation notes to confirm legal strategy

  • Conduct detailed final reviews of client petitions and case files

  • Draft and file legal documents, including motions, pleadings, briefs, and appeals

  • Represent clients at USCIS interviews and in removal proceedings across the U.S.

  • Maintain regular communication with legal support staff and team members

  • Respond to client inquiries and provide legal guidance

  • Analyze urgent case matters and prepare emergency motions

  • Participate in and contribute to process improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in immigration law

  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal)

  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting

  • Willingness to travel as needed for hearings and interviews

Education:

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

  • In good standing with relevant bar authority

Skills:

  • Case analysis and legal strategy development

  • Drafting immigration-related legal filings and motions

  • Bilingual communication with clients and government agencies
