Job Overview

A law firm seeks litigation attorneys at various levels to join their team in San Diego, CA. The firm offers hybrid or fully remote work options and handles complex insurance defense matters. This role is suitable for both early-career and senior litigators.

Duties

  • Manage or support insurance defense cases from intake through resolution.
  • Draft pleadings, discovery, and legal memoranda.
  • Conduct or assist with depositions and hearings.

  • Contribute to trial preparation and strategy.
  • Supervise and mentor associates and support staff (for senior candidates).

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed and in good standing in California.
  • Insurance defense experience required (except for junior applicants).
  • Background in trucking/transportation law is a plus.
  • 1-10+ years of litigation experience.
  • Strong legal writing, organization, and communication skills.
  • First-chair trial experience preferred for senior applicants.
  • Ability to work independently and within a hybrid/remote team.

Education

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed and in good standing in California.
