Duties

• Manage all aspects of personal injury litigation, including Labor Law, slip and fall, and motor vehicle accidents.
• Evaluate the merits of personal injury cases.
• Provide guidance and counsel to clients.
• Review and monitor case facts to determine insurance coverage, case value, and medical care.
• Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients.
• Negotiate settlements throughout all stages of a case.
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
• Conduct research and legal analysis.
• Multitask professionally and meet multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• Appear for court dates, including motions, trials, depositions, arbitration, and mediation in all counties.
• Take cases to verdict.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience as a plaintiff personal injury attorney with trial experience.
• Familiarity with various legal documents.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• This role is onsite; remote or hybrid work is not available.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of New York.
