Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation for clients seeking protection under U.S. immigration law.

  • Manage case files, prepare legal documents, and represent clients in hearings and court proceedings.

  • Research and analyze legal issues related to immigration law.

  • Communicate with clients to provide updates, explain legal options, and manage expectations.

  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys to ensure the best outcome for clients.

Requirements:

  • Experience in immigration law, specifically handling visas and humanitarian immigration matters.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to handle complex immigration cases and effectively advocate for clients.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience working in a law firm setting is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Bar admission in the state of Florida.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. immigration law, particularly humanitarian relief options such as U-Visas, VAWA, and T-Visas.

  • Strong legal research and writing skills.

  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and the court system.
