Charlotte office of our client seeks a workers' compensation associate attorney, preferably with 1+ years of experience in workers compensation and experience in other practices. The candidate will file a review and legal analysis of workers compensation claims. Will assist in extensive legal research and drafting of client correspondence, discovery devices, summations, appeals, and appellate briefs. Regularly representing clients at depositions and hearings. Trial preparation and attendance. Expert witness retention and evaluation. Must be licensed in North Carolina.

The candidate should have exceptional writing, research, and litigation skills. A J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school is required. Should have superior analytical and problem-solving skills. Solid research abilities and written and oral communication skills are needed. A strong work ethic and ability to self-manage and work in a team environment are required. Must respond promptly to e-mail and phone inquiries. Must have excellent client skills and telephone manners.
