A law firm seeks an Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Associate in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in executive compensation and employee benefits law, focusing on equity plans, executive retention packages, and compensation arrangements in mergers and acquisitions, particularly private equity transactions.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support transaction preparation.
  • Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including memos and contracts.
  • Assist in managing complex transactions from inception to resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional interaction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative transaction strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards and stay updated on legal precedents.
  • Engage in professional development to enhance legal and leadership skills.
  • Participate in firm programs, civic organizations, and pro bono work.

Requirements

  • 3 years of corporate experience.
  • Experience in an AmLaw 100 firm preferred.
  • Admitted to practice in the state of office location.

Education

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice in the state in which you are officing.
