A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join the Labor, Employment, and Workplace Safety practice in Dallas, Texas. Duties

• Advise and counsel on employment and labor issues.
• Litigate employment-related cases in state and federal courts.

• Support due diligence in business mergers and acquisitions.
• Engage in arbitration and handle claims before relevant agencies.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in employment law.
• Experience with single plaintiff, class action, and restrictive covenant litigation.
• Familiarity with state and federal court procedures.
• Experience with EEOC, Department of Labor, and related state agencies.
• Prior experience with traditional labor relations is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
