Duties:

• Advocate in proceedings related to marital dissolution, including asset division, custody determinations, and spousal support.

• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence about family law matters.

• Prepare for and participate in hearings, trials, and depositions, taking lead responsibility for managing assigned caseloads.

• Engage in settlement negotiations with opposing parties, offering clients both assertive representation and practical advice.

• Conduct legal research and remain up to date on procedural changes and precedents affecting family law.

• Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure clarity, empathy, and strategic alignment throughout their case.

• Collaborate with colleagues when necessary to develop case strategies and share knowledge.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of professional legal experience, specifically within the domain of family law.

• Strong background in litigating complex domestic relations cases.

• Demonstrated capacity for handling contested divorce, custody, and support proceedings.

• Proven effectiveness in written and oral advocacy.

• Familiarity with state-specific family law statutes and procedural rules.

• Commitment to client advocacy and legal ethics.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school.
