Job Title: Hybrid Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A respected law firm based in St. Louis, MO, is looking for an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic defense litigation team. This hybrid role involves a combination of office and remote work, with a minimum requirement of one day per week in the office. The successful candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Team collaboration is crucial to success in this role.

Duties:

• Manage defense litigation cases from initiation through to resolution
• Represent clients in product liability, toxic tort, and general liability matters
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients, ensuring high-quality legal service
• Draft and review legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery
• Appear in court for hearings, depositions, and trials
• Provide legal guidance and strategic recommendations to clients
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of defense litigation experience
• Hands-on experience managing cases from start to finish
• Prior experience in product liability, toxic tort, or general liability preferred
• Must be licensed to practice in Missouri or Illinois

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to practice in the state of Missouri or Illinois
