Eminent Domain Attorney

Job Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to Eminent Domain cases.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
• Participate in case strategy development and provide legal counsel to clients.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff on case management and strategy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and precedents.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience practicing law, focusing on Eminent Domain or real estate/real property law.
• Excellent academic credentials and track record of professional achievements.
• Strong proficiency in legal research, writing, and analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Proven experience with law and motion practice, including dispositive motions.
• Prior experience in trial preparation, including evidence development and witness interviews.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with complex Eminent Domain cases.
• Familiarity with Oakland, CA, real estate landscape.
• Proficiency in relevant legal software and tools.

Education and Certifications:
