Job Overview

A law firm seeks a talented attorney with over three years of relevant experience to join their Executive Compensation and Governance Practice Group in West Palm Beach. This role offers the opportunity to engage in sophisticated executive compensation and governance work within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

Duties

  • Design and draft short- and long-term incentive plans, including profits interest programs and stock option plans.
  • Draft executive employment, severance, and change-in-control agreements.
  • Advise companies and boards on SEC disclosures related to executive compensation and governance.
  • Handle executive compensation issues in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to provide integrated client service.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in executive compensation or mergers and acquisitions.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for executive compensation and governance work.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the state of practice.

Skills

  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with senior executives and board members.
  • Ability to tackle complex issues and grow practice alongside a respected team.
