Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing comprehensive legal representation across various practice areas, including foreclosure, bankruptcy, and litigation.

Duties

  • Represent financial institutions in foreclosure, bankruptcy, replevin, and related court proceedings.
  • Draft and review motions, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Attend court hearings in person and virtually.
  • Provide legal oversight and collaborate with support staff.
  • Deliver responsive, client-focused legal services in a high-volume practice.

Requirements

  • Licensed in North Carolina.
  • 0-4 years of experience; foreclosure, bankruptcy, or collections experience preferred.
  • Strong legal writing, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and driven.
  • Multi-state licensure and federal licensure are bonus qualifications.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in North Carolina.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based legal platforms.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
