Corporate Associate (Junior)

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior corporate associate for its New York office. The successful candidate will have experience in mergers and acquisitions or strategic support for start-ups and venture capital firms. Duties

• Provide strategic support to start-ups and venture capital firms.
• Engage in mergers and acquisitions transactions.
• Represent companies and venture funds in financing rounds.
• Interact with CEOs, Boards of Directors, and general partners.

Requirements

• JD from 2022 - 2023.
• Previous experience in a large law firm.
• Admitted or eligible to waive into the New York State Bar.
• Experience in M&A, venture capital, or growth equity financing.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to the State Bar of New York or eligible for admission.

Skills

• Proven experience in corporate law.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Comfortable with significant client interaction.
