Job Overview

A law firm seeks a dynamic and proactive Practice Innovation Attorney to join their Newport Beach office. This role focuses on integrating Artificial Intelligence and other innovative technologies into legal practices, enhancing productivity and client outcomes.

Duties

  • Collaborate with attorney practice groups and clients to develop and deploy innovative technology solutions.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate attorneys and business professionals on legal technologies and AI solutions.
  • Curate resources and best practices for effective use of legal technologies.
  • Provide research support through the firm's AI program and traditional methods.
  • Monitor emerging legal technologies and report on innovation opportunities.
  • Create alerts for monitoring legal or industry topics.
  • Identify training opportunities by analyzing research data.
  • Develop and present training sessions, accommodating international schedules.
  • Assist with information resource contract reviews.
  • Support other projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • JD degree required; Master's Degree in Library Science preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a corporate or litigation attorney, or legal researcher.
  • Experience with legal technologies, particularly AI and automation solutions.
  • Strong command of technology and interest in innovation.
  • Ability to work under time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, adept at multi-tasking.
  • Service-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
  • Collaborative with a focus on knowledge sharing.
  • Comfortable with continuous learning and change.

Education
