Job Overview:
A law firm based in Irvine, CA, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented associate attorney with up to two years of legal experience, ideally including civil litigation. This role offers exposure to a diverse range of matters spanning trust and estates litigation, family law, estate planning, and business transactions. The position is ideal for a recent law graduate admitted to the California Bar or a junior attorney aiming to deepen litigation and transactional skills in a collaborative setting.

Duties:

• Handle a wide range of matters, including:

  • Trust and estate disputes

  • Family law matters

  • Estate planning documents

  • Business transactions and commercial litigation

• Draft legal documents such as motions, discovery responses, and correspondence

• Take and defend depositions

• Engage in legal research and trial preparation

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court

• Support trial attorneys with case development and courtroom readiness

Requirements:

• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California

• 0-2 years of post-bar legal experience

• Exposure to or strong interest in civil litigation and/or estate-related law

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the California Bar (required)
