Job Overview

Multiple leading law firms across the United States — including Am Law real estate groups, respected mid-sized firms, and real estate boutiques — are actively seeking Commercial Real Estate Transaction Attorneys with 1–10+ years of experience.
With commercial real estate acquisitions, financing, leasing, and development remaining strong nationwide, firms are rapidly expanding their transactional real estate teams.

If you have experience in commercial real estate matters, including:

  • Property acquisitions and dispositions

  • Office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use leasing

  • Joint ventures and real estate fund work

  • Construction and mortgage financing

  • Development, zoning, and entitlement coordination

  • Title and survey review and due diligence

  • Drafting and negotiating sophisticated deal documents

Duties

  • Handle commercial property acquisitions, sales, and related negotiations.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate leases for office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use assets.

  • Assist with joint ventures, fund work, and investor-side real estate matters.

  • Support financing transactions, including construction loans and mortgage lending.

  • Conduct due diligence, including title, survey, zoning, and entitlement review.

  • Collaborate with partners, developers, lenders, and investors on fast-moving transactions.

  • Manage deal documentation from term sheet through closing.

Requirements

  • 1–10+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience.

  • Experience with acquisitions, leasing, financing, or development matters.

  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple active deals and timelines.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

  • Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

  • Excellent drafting and transactional judgment.

  • Strong communication with clients, lenders, developers, and internal teams.

  • Ability to perform detailed title/survey due diligence.

  • Organized, efficient, and able to manage high-volume deal flow.

  • Collaborative mindset and responsiveness.
