Associate Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks a litigation associate in West Hartford, CT, to handle civil and probate matters. This role offers early-career attorneys the chance to build courtroom experience and refine advocacy skills in a supportive setting.

Duties

• Manage personal injury, contract, tort, and business litigation matters through discovery and motion practice.

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and court filings.

• Argue procedural and substantive motions before the court.

• Assist with trial preparation, including witness examinations and exhibit organization.

• Handle probate litigation tasks such as will contests and estate administration.

• Maintain client communication regarding case status and strategy.

Requirements

• Admission to practice in Connecticut.
