Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Wage and Hour Associate to join its New York City office. The firm specializes in employment and labor law, providing strategic solutions to employers nationwide. This role involves litigation and advisory services related to wage and hour laws.

Duties

• Litigate cases involving employment-related claims under the Fair Labor Standards and New York Labor Law.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, and in arbitration for wage and hour cases.
• Advise employers on compliance with wage and hour laws and risk management strategies.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 3+ years of experience, with a strong preference for an employment law background.
• Current NY Bar admission or ability to obtain admission.
• Class/collective action experience strongly preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
