Job Overview

A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Business Immigration Associate with at least two years of experience to join its Labor and Employment practice. This role is ideal for attorneys seeking exposure to sophisticated employment-based immigration matters in a collaborative, client-focused environment. The position is open across multiple office locations and supports a hybrid work model.

  • Minneapolis, MN

Duties

  • Prepare and file employment-based immigration petitions, including PERM, H-1B, and L-1

  • Manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and timeliness

  • Draft legal documents and client communications related to immigration matters

  • Conduct legal research on immigration law and policy

  • Liaise with corporate clients on strategy, documentation, and compliance

  • Collaborate with partners and legal teams across offices

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business immigration law

  • Strong background in PERM, H-1B, and L-1 filings

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated client service orientation

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

  • Strong academic credentials required

Certifications

  • Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

  • In good standing with the applicable state bar
