Job Overview

A law firm seeks a full-time Employment Attorney with over four years of experience to join its team in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will support the firm's employment law practice, focusing on federal and state employment laws and regulations.

Duties

  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
  • Handle BOLI and EEOC charges, investigations, and policy reviews with limited supervision.
  • Participate in litigation as a second chair, including depositions and oral arguments.
  • Train and mentor junior associates.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of employment law experience.
  • Strong research, analytical, and legal writing skills.
  • Experience in litigation and client service.
  • Admission to the Oregon or Washington State Bar, or eligibility for reciprocity.
  • Interest in labor law is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in Oregon or Washington, or eligibility for reciprocity.

Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong work ethic and client service acumen.
