Duties

  • Attend court hearings, conduct legal research, and provide expert legal advice.
  • Maintain organized files for seamless team collaboration.
  • Analyze legal matters, strategize solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients.
  • Prepare legal documents and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members for efficient case management.
  • Bill a minimum of 130 hours per month.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA).
  • Admission to the Texas Bar.
  • Current Texas Driver's License and automobile insurance.
  • 2-3 years of experience in family law cases and litigation in Texas.
  • Ability to travel 10-15%.
  • High tech proficiency and experience in a paperless environment.
  • Experience with MyCase or similar case management software.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, collaborative, and client-centric spirit embracing diversity and inclusion.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA).
  • Admission to the Texas Bar.
