A law firm seeks a Senior Family Law Attorney in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in family law litigation and trials, providing expert guidance to clients to achieve their case objectives. Duties

• Attend court hearings, conduct legal research, and provide expert legal advice.
• Maintain organized files for seamless team collaboration.
• Analyze legal matters, strategize solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients.
• Prepare legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members for efficient case management.
• Bill a minimum of 130 hours per month.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA).
• Admission to the Texas Bar.
• Current Texas Driver's License and automobile insurance.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in family law cases and litigation in Texas.
• Ability to travel 10-15%.
• High tech proficiency and experience in a paperless environment.
• Experience with MyCase or similar case management software.
• Interest in mentoring other attorneys.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA).
• Admission to the Texas Bar.
