Eminent Domain and Land Use Associate

A law firm seeks an Eminent Domain and Land Use Associate in Cartersville, Georgia, to support its statewide condemnation practice and related land-use matters.

Duties

• Handle all phases of eminent domain litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.

• Conduct title and property rights research and prepare valuation analyses.

• Advise clients on land-use regulations and negotiate land rights agreements.

• Participate in hearings, negotiations, and settlement conferences.

Requirements

• Admission to the Georgia Bar.

• Litigation experience, preferably with exposure to land development, farming, or conservation issues.

• Demonstrated interest in land use and public infrastructure matters.

• Ability to work on-site in Cartersville.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
