Job Overview:
A well-regarded law firm is currently seeking a Commercial Real Estate Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience to support its growing real estate practice. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience advising clients in complex transactions involving acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing. Location:

Duties:

  • Advise clients on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing matters

  • Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of real estate-related contracts and agreements

  • Provide counsel on zoning, land use, environmental, and regulatory issues impacting commercial properties

  • Work closely with clients, developers, financial institutions, and internal teams to close deals effectively and efficiently

  • Ensure legal compliance and risk management for all real estate transactions

  • Monitor legal trends and provide strategic recommendations to clients

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing commercial real estate law

  • Experience with complex real estate transactions and contract negotiation

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active and in good standing with the Virginia State Bar

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of property law, leasing, and title matters

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong negotiation and client management skills

  • Analytical thinker with sound legal judgment

  • Proficient in handling a variety of real estate legal documents
