A highly respected law firm is seeking an Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its national and international insurance litigation team. Based in Miami, this position focuses on coverage litigation, bad faith claims, and commercial insurance disputes. Location

Duties

• Advise insurers on coverage matters, including complex and high-exposure claims

• Represent insurers in litigation involving coverage disputes, bad faith allegations, and commercial liability issues

• Draft coverage opinions, pleadings, motions, and discovery documents

• Conduct legal research and factual investigations

• Take and defend depositions

• Appear in court for hearings and motion arguments

• Participate in settlement discussions and mediations

• Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on case strategy and client engagement

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of insurance coverage experience, preferably in a law firm setting

• Proven litigation experience in coverage, bad faith, or commercial insurance matters

• Admitted and in good standing with the Florida Bar

• Ability to manage multiple files and meet performance expectations (1920 billable hour target)

• Experience participating in all phases of litigation

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

• Strong academic credentials preferred

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Florida

• Admission in additional jurisdictions is a plus
