Finance Associate - Restructuring & Special Situations

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a finance associate to join their Business Restructuring & Reorganization team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in liability management transactions, DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings, and special situations financings. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile cases, representing hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds, and other financial institutions in both chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.

Duties

• Represent creditors or borrowers in liability management transactions.
• Engage in DIP and bankruptcy exit financings.
• Participate in special situations financings.
• Work on high-profile capital structure representations.

Requirements

• Experience with liability management transactions.
• Familiarity with DIP and bankruptcy exit financings.
• Knowledge of special situations financings.
• Experience representing financial institutions in chapter 11 cases.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of California.
