Job Overview

A law firm seeks a driven and detail-oriented Science Advisor to join their Patent Litigation Life Sciences team in any U.S. office, including fully remote positions. The role involves providing strategic support on complex matters for a diverse range of biopharma and healthcare clients.

Duties

  • Partner with attorneys to develop technical strategies in patent-related matters.
  • Analyze patents, prior art, and technical documentation for litigation support.
  • Translate complex scientific concepts into clear insights for litigation teams.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or equivalent in molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, bioengineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in life sciences patent litigation.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • USPTO Membership is encouraged.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with patent litigation processes.
  • Experience with sequence alignments, CDR mapping, or protein analysis.
  • Experience preparing or reviewing expert reports.

Education

  • Ph.D. or equivalent in relevant field.

Certifications

  • USPTO Membership encouraged.
