The role involves advocacy before U.S. courts, arbitration panels, the International Trade Commission, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Duties

  • Represent clients in trademark, copyright, patent, inventorship, and trade secret disputes

  • Advocate in proceedings before U.S. courts, arbitration forums, the International Trade Commission, and the USPTO

  • Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and technical experts to develop litigation strategies

  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents

  • Manage case files and assist with trial preparation

  • Engage in client communication and support business development efforts

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of intellectual property litigation experience

  • Eligibility to work in the United States (U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required due to export control regulations)

  • Ability to manage complex legal and technical matters

  • Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills

  • Willingness to work in a hybrid office setting

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering or life sciences

Certifications

  • Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar (or ability to become admitted)

Skills

  • Strong legal research and writing abilities

  • Excellent oral advocacy and presentation skills

  • Familiarity with federal court procedures and IP litigation strategy

  • Analytical thinking with attention to detail
