Transactional Associate Attorney

Job Overview:

Location:

• Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey

Duties:

• Assist with business sales, purchases, and partnership agreements from inception to closing

• Draft and negotiate shareholder agreements, operating agreements, and joint venture contracts

• Handle business formations and dissolutions

• Advise clients on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and general business law

• Manage commercial leasing and real estate transactions

• Prepare and review a wide range of legal documents and contracts

• Represent clients in commercial property tax appeals and related matters

Requirements:

• 0–5 years of relevant experience in transactional or corporate law

• Demonstrated ability to manage commercial transactions independently or under supervision

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities

• Portable book of business is a plus, but not required

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar (required)

• In good standing with applicable licensing authorities
