Location:

Duties:

  • Review and adjust immigration applications and packets as needed.
  • Explain immigration concepts and provide strategic legal solutions.
  • Prepare and submit legal briefs for a variety of immigration cases.
  • Conduct client meetings to gather documents, provide guidance, and assist with visa processes.
  • Utilize case management systems to track case milestones, follow up with clients, and meet deadlines.
  • Ensure accuracy in preparing legal forms, correspondence, and supporting documentation.
  • Represent clients at government interviews.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to support the Managing Attorney and firm needs.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in Spanish (required).
  • One year of experience in immigration law, with a preference for EOIR (Executive Office for Immigration Review) experience.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a legal team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to a U.S. state bar.

Skills:

  • Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in case management systems and databases.
  • Detail-oriented approach to legal documentation and case management.
  • Effective client communication and relationship-building skills.
