A Miami-based law firm with a national footprint is seeking a driven and skilled Litigation Associate to join its expanding practice. Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload from pre-suit investigation through trial preparation

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses

• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances

• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop strategic litigation plans

• Provide regular updates to clients on case developments and risk assessments

• Contribute to firm-wide best practices, training initiatives, and case evaluations

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of litigation experience in areas including:

  • Premises liability

  • Motor vehicle and transportation claims

  • Products and construction liability

  • Professional liability defense

• Demonstrated ability to analyze, strategize, and manage litigation matters independently

• Proven track record of legal writing, oral advocacy, and negotiation skills

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities

• Proactive attitude with sound judgment and attention to detail

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active member, in good standing, with the Florida State Bar

Skills:

• Legal research and analysis

• Drafting persuasive and strategic legal documents

• Oral advocacy and deposition skills

• Client communication and relationship management

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Proficiency with litigation software and case management tools
