A law firm seeks a Bankruptcy Associate to join its national Bankruptcy and Restructuring practice group in Houston, Texas. This full-time, partnership-track position requires in-person attendance and offers an opportunity to work on complex commercial bankruptcy matters.

Duties

• Assist in handling commercial bankruptcy cases.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Collaborate with team members on restructuring projects.
• Participate in client meetings and court proceedings.

Requirements

• One to four years of commercial bankruptcy experience.
• Strong academic record and analytical skills.
• Exceptional writing abilities.
• Team-oriented mindset.
• Texas bar license preferred; required within one year of joining.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas or eligible to obtain within one year.
