Job Overview

A law firm seeks a 2nd - 4th year Associate for the Supreme Court and Appellate team in the Litigation Practice Group, located in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have significant appellate experience, with a preference for familiarity with the Administrative Procedure Act.

Duties

• Engage in appellate litigation and related legal research.
• Draft and review legal documents and briefs for court submissions.
• Collaborate with team members on case strategy and development.
• Participate in client meetings and provide legal advice.

Requirements

• Current member of the DC bar or eligible for waive-in.
• Outstanding academic credentials from a top-tier school.
• Strong writing skills and appellate litigation experience.
• Preference for candidates with past appellate clerkship experience.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the DC Bar.
