Real Estate Associate - Affordable Housing

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified Real Estate Associate to join its Affordable Housing and Community Development Practice Group in Chicago, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have experience in multifamily and/or commercial real estate, particularly in financing affordable multifamily real estate deals.

Duties

• Draft transactional documents for real estate deals.
• Collaborate with clients and team members on affordable housing projects.
• Engage in financing transactions involving Freddie Mac and/or Fannie Mae.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in multifamily and/or commercial real estate.
• Experience with agency financing programs and real estate lenders.
• Admitted to the Illinois bar or eligible to waive in.

Education

• Excellent academic credentials required.

Certifications

• Illinois bar admission or eligibility to waive in.
