A law firm in New York City is seeking a Property Tax and Condemnation Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience in real property, tax, or litigation. The ideal candidate must be licensed to practice law in New York State and possess strong verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills.

 

Job Duties:

  • Represent clients in real property tax litigation proceedings.
  • Handle assessment challenges and valuation issues related to real estate properties.
  • Provide legal counsel and representation in eminent domain matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on property tax laws and regulations.
  • Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
  • Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions with opposing parties.

 

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in New York State.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a practicing attorney in real property, tax, or litigation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
