A well-established and growing law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney for its Scranton, Pennsylvania office. This full-time, in-person role offers the opportunity to independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution. The position is suited for a motivated attorney with strong communication skills, courtroom experience, and a commitment to client advocacy in personal injury matters.

Location

Duties

• Manage a caseload of personal injury litigation files from intake through resolution

• Attend and conduct oral arguments, mediations, depositions, client meetings, and trials

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal staff in a professional and timely manner

• Supervise legal support staff as needed to advance case progress

• Utilize electronic case management systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date files

• Collaborate with managing partners and legal team to align with case strategy and client goals

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in the State of Pennsylvania (in good standing)

• Experience in personal injury litigation preferred

• Deposition, mediation, and courtroom experience strongly preferred

• Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with case management systems

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team-oriented legal environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in Pennsylvania
