Litigation / Bankruptcy Attorney

Job Overview:
A mid-sized general practice law firm is seeking a Litigation and Bankruptcy Attorney with 2 to 5 years of experience to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a background in both litigation and bankruptcy matters, with a preference for those who have completed a judicial clerkship. Location:

• Baltimore, Maryland

Duties:

• Represent clients in litigation and bankruptcy proceedings

• Draft legal pleadings, motions, briefs, and other documents

• Conduct legal research and prepare written memoranda

• Participate in discovery, depositions, hearings, and trials

• Develop litigation strategy in collaboration with supervising attorneys

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts effectively

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in litigation and bankruptcy law

• Judicial clerkship experience strongly preferred

• Admission to the Maryland Bar (required)

• Admission in DC and/or Virginia is beneficial

• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Maryland

• Additional admission in DC and/or Virginia preferred
