Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a litigation associate attorney to join its Baltimore, Maryland office. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment. A Maryland bar license and over one year of civil litigation experience are preferred. Candidates awaiting admission to the Maryland bar or scheduled for an upcoming bar examination may also be considered.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Represent clients in court and other legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy.
• Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Maryland or awaiting bar admission.
• Experience in civil litigation preferred.
• Licensure in District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, or Virginia is a plus.
• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Maryland bar admission or pending admission.
